Cheap Arizona Auto Insurance Rates -- Superior Coverage For Much Less

It's easy to get cheap Arizona auto insurance rates while enjoying superior coverage. No, you don't really have to choose between the two. However, you need to know the following things...

Terms & Conditions

Privacy Policy

Here's what the law stipulates...

Arizona operates the tort system. This simply means that in the event of an accident, it's the person found to be at fault that bears the liability. Since everyone is expected to have some level of auto insurance coverage by state law, their insurer bears the cost.

The law stipulates that each driver buys insurance coverage that provides at least $15,000 for each injured person up to a total of $30k per accident. It also requires that this policy provide up to $10k for property damage per accident. If you get an Arizona auto insurance policy that has this provision, you've met the requirements of the law in the state.

But what if someone (with this minimum coverage) is at fault in an accident and liability claims are as high as $330,000?

His/her insurer can only provide coverage to a total of $40k. If such a person's car is damaged, he'll bear the cost all by him/herself. If such a person's car is totaled, sorry, nothing would be done about that. He/she'll bear those costs. That brings us to the next thing...

What we mean by adequate coverage and how to get it...

This is an insurance policy that takes a look at your present needs and assets and protects from their loss. This would vary from person to person. Furthermore, it would change as your life changes. So, to know what's adequate for you, consult a trusted insurance agent.

Ways to attract cheaper rates without downgrading your coverage quality...

1. Drive carefully always. A great driving history means you're a better risk to an insurer.

2. If you can, use a less expensive car. The more expensive your car is, the more you'll pay to insure it.

3. Take advantage of a multi-vehicle discount.

4. Don't make petty claims. If you stay between three and five years without making claims, you'll be entitled to a No Claims Bonus.

5. Get an umbrella policy and leave your auto insurance liability coverage limits at their minimum.

6. If yours is an old car, drop collision and comprehensive coverage.

7. Look for ways to cut down your mileage.

8. Don't "pimp your ride." It will raise your costs.

9. Make sure you have theft-deterrent measures installed in your car.

10. Be careful where you buy a home. The little you thought you saved on a home might be offset by the added auto insurance premium dollars you'll pay over the years (This would easily amount to thousands of dollars).

11.Get and compare quotes from a wide variety of insurance carriers. With excellent quotes sites, this should take you just a few minutes but could save you hundreds of dollars.
